What is PCDC?
Perry County Day Camp is a summer, one week camp for all elementary school-aged children in grades 1 through 6 of Perry County. While attending camp, children are involved in arts and crafts, recreation, nature studies, swimming, hiking, special presentations on the camp theme and presentations by 4H members on their clubs' activities.
Where is PCDC?
Perry County Day Camp is held at Little Buffalo State Park in Newport, Pennsylvania. 
The park provides a pavilion, picnic areas, and open field for the daily activities of PCDC. There is also a mile long trail for the daily hike to and from the park's pool.

Who participates in PCDC?
All elementary school-aged children of Perry County are invited to attend the camp. Information is provided by April first each year to all the public, private and home-schooled organizations that Perry County children attend. 
The camp is administered by an Interagency Steering Committee who hires an Administrative Director, At-Camp Director, Arts and Crafts Director and Recreation Director to oversee the daily organization of camp.
Volunteers of adults and teens
 provide small group participation in the camp activities.
When is Perry County Day Camp?
Each year, Perry County Day Camp is held for two weeks in July. Each week is host to a different group of campers.
This year camp will be held the weeks of July 9 - 13 and 16 - 20, 2018
Camp begins daily at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 3:00 p.m.
